Green Haven Design & Consult is a one-of-a-kind, Eco-friendly company. Our C&O and founder has been working in the construction and design field for nearly two decades. Cara’s expertise started while serving in the United States Air Force as an Engineering Assistant. Later, consulting with architectural and engineering firms throughout the Metro D.C. and Northern Virginia regions while instructing adult learns how to use and implement top of the line design industry software. Not only does she have the ability to design and craft beautiful homes, but her experience as an engineering assistant and construction leader also ensures that a home is aesthetically gorgeous, functional, and buildable. With her creativity and passion for design, she can bring your ideas to reality. By using the psychology of color theory, organization, and intentional design, all while listening to the needs of you and your family, we can create an amazing design that will cater to your family’s best life. 

 

We use sustainable Eco-Friendly materials where possible, within our projects or as requested by our clients. They provide less off-gassing and toxicity, which makes for a healthier living environment. We plan for the future by using sustainable eco-friendly "that are made to last"; we create less waste. Our ideas and designs are meant to be everlasting and won't have to be replaced as trends change over time, leading to a truly sustainable design.
